We are located about a mile south of the Wailua River bridge and half mile north of the Kauai Beach Resort (Hilton). You can't miss the course as you will see part of it coming from either direction.

Wailua Golf Course is located on the island of Kauai, along the shores of the Pacific Oean. Mountain view in the background complete the scene. The front nine holes are fairly flat and wide open, while the back nine holes are featuring several elevation changes.

Many coconut and pine trees, as well as numerous sand bunkers, are found throughout the course. Greens are undulating and well protected, making them very challenging to conquer. If you want a challenge just play the course from the "tips" and find out for yourself. The third hole, a par 3, measures 245 yards! It is one of the shortest "par 4's" (if you know what I mean) on the course!

The course hosted the USGA AMATEUR PUBLIC LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP in 1975 (Randyn Barenaba), 1985 ( Jim Sorenson), and 1996 (Tim Hograth). Locals consider it one of the best municipal courses in the state. GOLF DIGEST ranked Wailua 25th among the Top 7 Public Courses in 1990 and 2nd best in the category of "America's Top 75 Affordable Courses" in their list of "America's Best Golf Courses Everyone Can Play" in 1996. In 2007 it is still considered one of the best and most afforable to play. Green Fees only: $60 - Monday thru Friday and only $70- weekends and holidays. Gas carrts: $18.00
